February, the month of LOVE, is a great month to have a baby!
My very first baby was born in February, and it was like Valentine’s Day every day.
I. was. in. LOVE!
I never put her down. I’m serious. I never put her down. I toted that little gal around with me everywhere I went. I’d never heard of “attachment parenting.” I don’t think that term had been coined yet. But I was just following my heart. And you know what? I don’t regret one minute of it. I’ve never regretted the times I spent holding my babies. Or my toddlers. Or my grown kids.
Oh, and all that holding didn’t create an insecure little girl, either. She grew up to be a very independent, strong, confident woman who is now a wife and mother herself.
